Meet the Staff

As Sports Director, Trevor will be in charge of handling the day-to-day operations of the sports department. A native of Villisca, Iowa, Trevor graduated from Southwest Valley High School in 2015. Trevor is in his third-year at KZLX and has been a key fixture on The Weekend Sports Kickoff for the past two years. He also serves as an intern at KMA Radio (Shenandoah, Iowa) covering high school sports across Southwest Iowa, and as a reporter during the summer at the Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa. Trevor is an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, Iowa Hawkeyes and NASCAR. During his free time he enjoys watching sports, reading, watching television (particularly Hawaii Five-O), taste testing different types of beers and trying to find the world’s greatest burger. This fall, Kramer Sansone will serve as the Assistant Sports Director at KZLX, Kramer’s duties will include assisting the Sports Director with day-to-day operations. Kramer is a native of St. Joseph, Missouri and a 2015 graduate of Lafayette High School. This school year will be his second year at KZLX. Kramer is a staple on two specialty shows; “The Weekend Sports Kickoff” and “Good Ol’ Wrasslin”. Kramer also works for KXCV and the Bearcat Radio Network as a News Reporter and Head Engineer. He is an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, Oakland Raiders and Michigan Wolverines and a die-hard fan of professional wrestling. Jacob Blair

KZLX Sports Analyst Jacob Blair is in his second year at KZLX. Jacob is a native of Kansas City, Missouri and a 2017 graduate of Park Hill High School. During his freshman year, Jacob assisted with many broadcasts and was an integral part of the “Weekend Sports Kickoff.” Jacob will do much of the same this season as well as host “The Left Turn” every Monday afternoon. Jacob is an avid fan of the Chiefs, Wichita State, NASCAR, IndyCar and local dirt-track racing. During the summer, he serves as an announcer at the I-35 Speedway in Winston, Missouri. During his free time, Jacob enjoys watching and playing basketball and can normally be found a local dirt-track either watching or racing in his USRA B-Modified.

This fall, Austin Hall will enter his third year as a Sports Analyst at KZLX. Austin is a native of Sheldon, Missouri and a 2015 graduate from Sheldon R-VII. During his time at KZLX Austin has produced many broadcast and has been a vital part of many baseball, basketball and volleyball broadcasts. This fall, Austin will take over the reigns of “Friday Take” every Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.. Austin also works at KXCV-KRNW and is the producer of “All Things Northwest”. Austin is an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, Oklahoma City Thunder and Missouri Tigers. During his time, Austin can usually be found watching sports. PERRY

KZLX Sports Analyst Perry Randle is entering his second year at KZLX. Perry is a native of Kansas City, Missouri and a 2016 graduate of Winnetonka High School. During his first year at KZLX, Perry provided color commentary of many broadcasts of Northwest Missouri State Basketball. Perry can be heard every Thursday on KZLX, giving his insight on the NBA alongside Noah Cooper on “Droppin’ Dimes”. Perry is a member of the Niles Media Group. Perry’s favorite sports teams include the Kansas City Chiefs, Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Lakers (he thinks Kobe is the GOAT). This fall, Wyatt Bell will enter his second year at KZLX, but his first as a member of the sports department. Wyatt is a native of Leeton, Missouri and a 2015 graduate of Leeton High School. This fall, Wyatt will join Austin Hall as a co-host on “Friday Take” every Friday.  During his time at Northwest, Wyatt has taken advantage of the multiple student media outlets and has been a member of both the Northwest Missourian and KNWT Channel 8. Wyatt’s favorite teams include the Kansas City Royals, Colorado Rockies, Kansas City Chiefs and Sporting Kansas City. NOAH

This fall, Noah Cooper will begin his second year at KZLX. Noah is a native of Greenfield, Iowa and a 2016 graduate of Nodaway Valley High School. Last year, Noah was a vital part of many Northwest basketball broadcasts and debuted alongside Perry Randle on the hit show “Droppin’ Dimes”. The dynamic duo will bring the show back this fall. Noah also works at KXCV and has also done work with KSOM (Atlantic, Iowa). Noah is an avid fan of the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks and Philadelphia Phillies.
